India may attack Pakistan in October, Aizaz Chaudhry

Former Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry has cautioned that India may plan military action against Pakistan in October.
He noted that elections are scheduled in the Indian state of Bihar in November, and Prime Minister Modi has historically used anti-Pakistan sentiment to gain political mileage.
Chaudhry said that Indian leadership could escalate tensions in the region to divert attention from domestic political and economic challenges.
International affairs analyst Huma Baqai stressed that Pakistan must present concrete evidence of Indian-sponsored terrorism at global platforms, particularly at the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). She argued that Pakistan has sufficient proof to expose India’s involvement in destabilising activities.
Defence analyst Lieutenant General (Retd) Abdul Qayyum emphasised the need for Pakistan to brief foreign diplomats stationed in Islamabad. According to him, proactive engagement is necessary to ensure the international community is fully aware of India’s potential aggression and the risks to regional peace.
